Our facility is at 156 North Main St. in Cambridge Village. This is just north of VT Route 15 about 3 miles west of Jeffersonville and ten miles northeast of Underhill.We have the White Steepled Clock Church with the beautiful large stained glass window in front.<br /><span style="color:#ffcc00;">WE MEET ON:<br /></span>Sundays ~ 10 : 30 am. Our service is informal, casual attire is the practice! Coffee hour and muchies usually follow the service where we get to know one another.Our style of worship highlights song, celebration, prayer and teaching. You will see people free to worship in the way comfortable to them. After the service we also have ministry time for specific prayer and encouragement for anyone who desires it.<br />Tuesdays ~ either Afternoon or Evening for prayer, inquire, we love to pray with you and for you!<br /><span style="color:#ffcc00;">PRAYER:<br /></span>We have an Intercessory Prayer Room upstairs, available for individuals and small groups, it has a warm inviting mural to inspire you.<br />Our “Selah Room”, upstairs, is a special space for soaking in the presence of our Lord. We have had wonderful times of prayer and joyful times where the Lord has touched us!<br />Both rooms are generally available during the day and by appointment.<br /><a name="Who_we_are"></a><span style="color:#ffcc00;">WHO ARE WE?</span><br /><strong><em>We are a Christian congregation seeking to worship our Lord Jesus Christ in Spirit and in Truth</em></strong>. We are affiliated with the National Association of Evangelicals and the EARCCC.<br /><a name="Our_history"></a><span style="color:#ffcc00;">HISTORY:<br /></span>The Town of Cambridge was chartered in 1781. Our church was the first congregation gathered in Cambridge, organized in 1792 as the First Congregational Church, being the second congregation gathered in the region north of the Winooski River. We became the Cambridge Community Church in 1935 and the Cambridge United Church in 1960. We were formerly affiliated with the United Church of Christ and its predecessors until 1997. At that time we chose to become an independent congregation in order to uphold the primacy of the Scriptures as the rule of Christian faith and practice.<br /><span style="color:#ffcc00;">INTERESTING FACT</span>:<br />The river behind our church was the place in the late 18 and 19th centuries where Shepherds from New Hampshire, New York and Vermont came to "SOAK THE SHEEP!" There was something in the water that made the wool very white and therefore, more valuable.<br />We are near one of the few Wineries in VT! So there are vineyards near us!
